The Deeside Cello Project is a registered charity and aims to enhance many people’s lives through cello music – whether they be players of any age or those who enjoy listening to music.
Centred in North East Scotland, the DCP runs an internationally popular summer school for cellists of all ages and stages, the Aboyne Cello Festival. We also put on concerts bringing top quality classical music to many corners of Deeside, Aberdeenshire, providing access to live music and stimulating tourism. The Summer Concert Series runs from Sunday 23rd to Sunday 30th July 2023, bringing wonderful cello concerts to Banchory, Aboyne, Braemar, Newton Dee (Aberdeen) and Tarland.
